Thanks, that sounds hopeful. We have done a few short Morocco trips, with a quick dash and one or two days in each place. Next time we go back I want to chill out more and get to know places for a week or two before moving on.

There's a long current thread on Motorhome Fun re Morocco which (amongst the chitchat) mentions many sites.

There's 2 campsites in Asilah right on the front. Very basic when I stayed in 2014 but not such an issue in a camper

Camping at Asilah
Mark,
Camping in Asilah is a bit of a pain at the moment for the aforesaid reasons. If you are able to consider the campsite at Moulay Bousellam, about 60km further down the coast, it is much more attractive and the facilities although basic by Euro standards are OK. If you are lucky/unlucky you will get horses and cattle to share your pitch:innocent: Moulay B town does not have the attractions that Asilah does but the beach is good. |
Assilah is beautiful and we don't need any facilities at all, just a flat parking space close to town. Anyway, we will see what we find when the time comes. Thanks for all the comments.

Hi Mark,
Try camping Saad, basic but within walking distance of beach and centre. 60 drh per night. N 35.47183, W 6.02911 I was there a few weeks ago. Cheers, Gee |
