Nice trip, beatiful pictures
we have also planned a trip to the western Sahara in Januari,
from assa to Smara to Dakhla and back North all on pistes if everything go well.
At the west side of the berm there are almost no landmines (the camels dit a good job:oops2:)
The landmines wich are still there are for heavy vehicules (tanks) so no danger for us.
we have already made severall trips to Smara but it will be the first time more south.

There's a fuel station in Awsard (aka Aousserd), N22.558201 W14.3331952

Bou Craa might be another place to ask around for fuel, N26.3568953 W12.8439944

There is now a real gas station in Aousserd (diesel and unleaded)
