I have a zumo 660 which I intend to fit on to my GS1200 and have been offered a BMW Navigator V mount. Are these units compatible?

Which year 1200GS?

If its the new LC version, I took off the BMW mount and replaced it with the Garmin 660 mount. The only thing you don't get is controlling the garmin via the wheel.
