Anyone know of a free .mps reader?
:helpsmilie:
When I went through Africa, I stored a waypoint on my Garmin Etrex each night, so that I have a pretty decent idea of my route. Afterwards I downloaded it into Garmin Mapsource and saved the file. I don’t have MapSource any more (nor do I have the GPS), but I want to map these waypoints out. Is anyone aware of any freeware that can convert the .mps format into one that can be used with Google earth, or whether there is a downloadable .mps reader at all? |
GPS Babel will work (and it's free) GPSBabel: convert, upload, download data from GPS and Map programs
Apparently it is command line interface takes some getting used to (never used it myself, just going on what I have read). There is an online interface that will do the work for you, although you are limited to an input file size of 3MB GPS Visualizer: Web interface to GPSBabel |
