FINDER GPS's???
 

I have acquired a GPS by the brand FINDER in Colombia.
Has anyone heard of this brand? I cant find out anything about it!!

After plugging it into my computer i can access the map files, can i put a world map on this brand? I would love to make use of this device through Central and Northern America.

Im such a newbi to this tech, any assistance would be greatly received.

There are two possibilities that I'm aware of:

1: it's a re-badged Garmin, in which case you are in luck, there are lots of maps available for you.

2: it accepts images that you can load, e.g. .jpg files, etc. You can then import scanned maps, etc. using referencing software.

I've never heard of this brand and I don't like your chances.

It's not a Lowrance iFinder, by any chance? As you can see you can buy maps for it.

Im thinking more and more its the perfect piece of tech for Colombia only.

Brands do make a difference in GPS purchasing!!
