Garmin 660 "system software missing " Please help !
Hi Help needed
I plugged my unit in to check for updates today and all seemed to go well , but when I turned on later I got a message on unit screen saying "system software missing " . this is a problem as the device will now not boot and I,m heading to Europe in 3 weeks. Anyone any ideas ? Cheers in advance |
Garmin has a major office (one of 3 of their largest offices worldwide) in the UK, you might want to consider sending the unit there to have the missing software installed. Here are the contact details:

This can be done relatively easily using a home computer, but it requires more than just an average level of knowledge of the Garmin file structure (what does what). If I were you, I'd send it to Garmin in Hampshire. |
