Google Maps App Coordinate system
Hi all,
When I try to find a coordinate of some place using my IOS operated iPhone, the coordinate system that google map app is like DD.DDDDDDD,DD.DDDDDDD. There are 7 digits after dot. Does anyone knows a way to convert this GPS format to something that my Garmin device can understand. Converting google map app format to DD.DDDD, DD.DDDD or N DDD MM SS.S, S DDD MM SS.S would be helpful. Thanks for your advises and comments in advance. |
Just input it into the garmin to the number of decimal places available -
rounding up from the next place for better accuracy. Garmin has several formats available - see the tools spanner top left corner I think Typical wanker ios pretending that that sort of accuracy matters a damn in the real world 0.0000001 degrees is a whole 10cm or 4" |
