handheld GPS alternative to Garmin 176
 

i'm going to be driving thru the Sahara - Tunisia, Libya, Algeria and Niger - and am looking for a handheld alternative to the Garmin 176. i plan to do some trekking - camel trips - so I'd like to be able to take the unit with me in my pack.
