Heads up on Garmin City Nav 2009
 

Many of us I believe use City Nav 2008 as well as other map sets ( non-Garmin) and unfortunately the above new version (out now as 2.45 Gb dowload) has been designed to work only under Map Source 6.14 .
Read about it here It could save you a lot of headaches if you use other non-Garmin mapping.

Somewhat bad news as 6.14 I recently tested was horribly slow repainting screen with maximum map detial, so I reverted back to 6.13. Anti-aliased display itself is step in the right direction but I'm not sure how they can release application that has so bad performance. Google can make similar anti-aliased map display in JavaScript that is very quick!
