Magellan - South America Maps
 

I have my Magellan Crossover and am heading to South America. I have exhausted all avenues of obtaining Magellan maps for South America. I have therefore a new problem to solve. I need to convert some of the garmin ones that are around (eg. Smellybiker's Wanderlust Worldmap • Index page) into Magellan ones.

What I have gathered so far is that its an involved process. I have hit several deadends in obtaining the right software so far. Mobile Mapper Office appears particuarly illusive. Alot of the links to this software are old and expired.

Has anyone managed a successful conversion of a Garmin file to a Magellan .imi file? Or better still has anyone got a magellan .imi file for south america or knows where one can be obtained?
