Horizons Unlimited - The HUBB - Montana 750i review by RUST mag

I picked up a 700i through Garmin's excellent Trade In Trade Up programme at Christmas.

So far I'm very pleased with it, of course I've been using the previous model for the since 2011 so most of it is very familiar and a host of improvements over the the old Montana.

One issue I did have was updating the installed City Navigator and Topo Active maps, it ran out of memory!. This was solved by moving one of the map sets to the memory card to free up some space. Seems a bit of an oversight by Garmin on that front.

I've also installed OTM Maps (UK, France, Spain, Portugal and Morocco), North Africa Topo and a 2020 copy of the OSM maps from the defunct site run by Lambertus. Still loads of memory left for more if necessary.
