Paper maps, Russia, Kazakshtan and Mongolia?
 

If the global situation settle down, really hope so for Ukraina, I'm planning to
ride east from Finland to Vladivostok.

I'm old school (and old), so I like to have paper maps to plan the route.
What maps would be recommended for this purpose and what would be
a good place to purchase online.

Welcome to the HUBB and good luck with your trip. I think you might be a bit older by the time you can actually do it, but planning is fun.

For Russia, I recommend the sheets made by Reise Know How Verlag.

For Mongolia, I used a Gizi Map sheet, it had plenty of inaccuracies but was generally good. The Reise Know How sheet might be even better but I have not checked.

For Kazakhstan I used Gizi and Reise Know How. I think the Gizi Map was better, but maybe Reise Know How have updated theirs since then (many years ago now).

As for where to buy, Reise Know How have their own online shop which is very good. Gizi you will need to search for.

Maps I would not recommend are the ITMB sheets.
