Route Plotting GPS
 

Can anyone recomend a good simple GPS that can be used to plot a route A to B via C, rather than having the machine sending you direct A-B.

I have Garmin GpsMap 60CSx. You can set waypoints for example A, B, C, D & E. Then you just create a route by selecting waypoints (like A, C, B, E). 60Csx is not a "simple" gps but you can buy also more basic version - GpsMap 60 or 60Cx. It's quite cheap in the US.

I have a ZUMO 550, with this you can create routes on the unit itself or by hooking it up to a computer, it's quite simple to use and has a host of features, such as shortest or fastest route, avoiding toll roads, motorways and unpaved roads.

Very pleased with mine, though not had experience with any others.
