Spot messenger batteries
 

Hi all,

I should use Energizer Lithium batteries in my Spot messenger, but I am just wondering availability of the lithium batteries around the world.

Has anyone any information of the availability of these batteries around the world?
Has anyone tried any other batteries or rechargeable batteries in Spot Messenger?

I tried standard AAA-batteries and also rechargeable GP NiMH 1000mAh batteries, but both seem to be depleated really fast...

Marko - I tested a number of batteries in the Spot and its only the Lithium batteries that work. I use on all day when riding, and get five to seven days from a single set.

As they're AAA's they don't take much space to to carry and you top up the supply when you come across them

Forget the GP batteries - nearly all of the GP range are low capacity and will fail below 0 deg C
