The hosts file is common across Windows and Unix (Android) systems and has many uses.

Want to annoy your kids? put Facebook and Twatter entries in there and watch their dismay:D

For the last year or so I now block ALL cookies. just put in exceptions for the ones I want to allow. save lots of time and the system only has to look at a short list rather than trawl through 67,000 :)

This includes LSO cookies that are inserted into the flash player directories and are very sneaky.
