Which Garmin unit???
 

I have been flug head first into the complex world (well at least to me:confused1:) of which garmin unit I should buy.

I have a short term need to use it for just travelling on roads around Europe and then need it for a trans Africa. It is only needed for a vehicle based unit.

Could I use any garmin unit? What should I look for?

Would a unit like 'nüvi® 765T' work?

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Nüvi 275T .... quite good and certainly cheaper ...

Non motorcycle?

I'd go for one with voice prompts .. very handy for navigation!

A largish screen size is usefull for planing - and seeing where thiongs are around you .. like fuel stations, hotels, sights to see..

On a motorcycle you'll want waterproof!
