Which GPS?
 

I am considering buying a GPS but I have no idea where to start. What type of GPS do I look for and what features do I go for?

I am ulitmately looking to do a trip through Africa on a XT600 Tenere (1VJ) motorbike. Where would I obtain waypoints etc, So should power taken from the bike be considered and are there kits available to do so?

I guess there are a number of factors to be considered however what are other people using and what do they recommend?
