What a refreshing change from the times of camel travel! An Austrian company using their "expertise from yacht-building"? Before you know it Innuits will be hired to train sheik's meharis :-)

But is it a Land Rover or a Toyota?

I bet it's cheaper on eBay...

I can confirm it's a Land Rover. The interior is blatantly lifted from my 110. That's the last time I give out fabric samples to over-inquisitive Austrians.

I wonder if they have used Velcro or BluTac to keep those statues in place when going over corrugations?

I always have a nightmare with mine...

If those levels of comfort still don't cut it, you could always try this:

No need to leave the house!

From the pics on the ActionMobil site it looks like everyone sleeps in the sitting room - bit of a squat really http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb/smile.gif

It uses closed circuit telly on drop down screens to see outside, obviously the yachtbuilder thought it would sink if he put in windows.

I wonder if they used a second hand truck to save money. That model ceased production in the early 90s I think

Styling by Elton John. Advertising blurb by the pentagon - 'outside vicinity'
