Thanks, Dave. I'll check it out if I get the chance....but time (and internet connectivity) is limited. Simple, informative, verifiable statements by the organizer might inspire somewhat more confidence.

Of course, maybe that's just me.

I'd guess if he's organising it, he's up to his neck in papers, maps, etc, and so I wouldn't expect comprehensive answers on here.

Guys, seriously. The dates are on the homepage of the website plus the Route menu highlighted in red, etc. What else should we've done to make it more obvious?

This is not necessarily a criticism, at least on my part. But I sure can't figure out what's proposed, what's happening, or who's involved.

Well, might be my fault but I don't see which of these three you can't find explicitly on the website: what's proposed, what's happening, who's involved.

You're bloody right. Crazy last weeks before the event. But this won't stop me answering questions which make sense and help people.
I can even try to be simple, informative and make myself verifiable...

I wish you the best of luck Trans Sahara Rally, I bet youre working flat out. I hope its a success. Looking forward to reading about it.
