Algeria Morocco crossing
 

I'm planning a motorcycle trip from Ireland to Cape Town - I would like to visit both Algeria and Morocco - is it possible to cross the border from Algeria to Morocco ? I have been told that there's no border cossing open between these two countries, any thoughts ? Thanks -Mike

Many thanks for the replies to my question - I think I'll head down thru Algeria/Muritania/Mali/Senegal.. and skip Morocco - now here's a few other questions - is it o.k to travel thru Algeria in July? it's going to be unbearably hot? I'm going to do it anyway but I just want a hint as to how bad it gets? should I look into getting a GPS or will I just bring a few maps?
