Algeria (when to go)
 

Hi all,

Planning is moving forward, having some trouble getting enough time off, so I might try to throw the Christmas holidays in the mix. How cold will it be in Algeria around that time? We will be riding/camping.

the days will be a bit short but temperarture will drop into uncomfortable regions (below 0 °C) only in altitude.

Have a look at he historic data of weatheronline for Tamanrasset, Djanet, Illizi, In Salah etc.

I would use a -10°C sleeping bag in winter (Dec.-Feb) to be on the safe side. Cutting out wind is important to preserve comfort in winter.
