Algerian visa's - for a mixed group
A question for those who know the finer points of visa applications for Algeria and Niger...
There is 4 of us who want to travel overland through Tunisia & Algeria to Niger. We all have different nationailities (US, Canada, NZ & UK) Two of us live in the UK. If we book guides and apply for visa's for Algeria, I don't think the Algerian embassy in London will allow non UK residents to apply? One visa agency has said this. Any idea if this is true? Can they get a letter of introduction from their London embassy to help? If they (US & Canada) do have to apply in the US & Canada for their visa's to Algeria, can the guide agency send fax's to all 3 embassy's for the same trip/booked guide? Is a US citizen likely to be given visa's for Algeria & Niger? How easy is it to get a Niger visa? Is it reliable to get one in Tamanrassett? Many thanks in advance! Any advice welcomed... |
>>>Any idea if this is true?
it is >>>Can they get a letter of introduction from their London embassy to help? worth a try i suppose but they must apply in their home country if it has an emb. >>>If they (US & Canada) do have to apply in the US & Canada for their visa's to Algeria, can the guide agency send fax's to all 3 embassy's for the same trip/booked guide? yes >>>Is a US citizen likely to be given visa's for Algeria & Niger? of course, but misuse of apostrophes gets 3 years in Guano Bay. >>> ... Is it reliable to get one in Tamanrassett? as much as anywhere in africa. Ch |
