atlantic route by bike
 

whats the feasibility of cycling the atlantic route in june. is the weather way to hot to manage at this time of year? What other considerations have to be taken in on doing this route?

I'd say it would be pretty warm in June! Its definitely feasible to cycle though, take a look at the Atlantic Route link at http://www.africabybike.org/updates.html for some info.

The atlantic route is along the ocean. So it's not hot, even in summertime. However, if you travel more then 50 km's inland temperatures will sharply rise.

this guy is cycling from europe to Ghana and took the atlantic route. Site is in dutch but you'll get an impression at least.
