boat Marseille-Tunis
Hi,
Does anyone know if the boats from Marseille to Tunis usually sold out? I was considering the possibility of appearing on the port without a reservation. Thanks, José |
é melhor reservar na net em

When I went earlier this year, the ferry was full. I would book as the ferries do not run every day, and I wouldnt want to have to hang around Marseille waiting for the next one!
Also if you want a bed in a cabin (as opposed to a seat) I would definately book in advance. |
I made this crossing in November 2002, and the boat seemed full. Why not reserve?

Hi , Jose !!
May I remind that there's a -cheap- ferry service from Valencia (eastern Spain) to Tunisia ? For most people is just a minor distance saving , but for people from Portugal / Spain It makes a big differerce. not sure about the prices , but were on the region on 300 euros . from Valencia (Salermo) Tunisia. It takes about 4 days (Valencia-Salermo 2days - Salermo Tunez 2 days ). >Why go drive North when you mean going South ? mail me for details. HAve a nice day. Quote:

Thanks for the advices!
>Madrid_CapeTown I didn't knew about the Valencia-Tunis option. But, unfortunatly, I don't have 4 days to spend in the Med. But, thanks for the suggestion! José |
Hi Jose
I'm in Morocco at the moment and was thinking of the valencia to tunis option. The boat seems to go Tues at 0005 and arrive 2 days later at 1400 (www.transmediterranea.es) or I think there is a Saturday option. So not quite as bad as 4 days Anyway I was hoping to try and get it around 8th Sept if you are interested. Cheers Gary |
