Is a Carnet needed for a Ghanaian reg. car?
 

To all the many experts out there..

I'm currently living in Ghana, and planning a trip back to Europe when my contract ends here. Does anyone out there know if a "Carnet de Passage" is needed for Senegal when arriving from Mali and continuing to Mauretania.

The vehicle is licensed in Ghana, and 7 years old.

Hope someone has some experience to share with me.

Do they accept the Laissez-Passer (local Carnet) that we will probably have to buy at the Burkina/Mali border??
