Chadian visas
 

We'll be coming up from Cape Town to go to Dakar and need a way around Dharfur, Sudan. we're considering flying from Ethiopia, but don't know where to get visas for Chad. can we get them in Addis Abeba? any tips appreciated.

in Nov. 03 we got the Chad visas in Khartoum within two days (Swiss passport). To get the travel permits took us one week. As the situation was already unsafe at this time we had to turn around in Nyala. I think at the moment the only possible way into Chad is by air.

thanks for the reply. yup, air is the best option, but I don't want to go to Khartoum just to get a visa! the airfreight from Addis is reckoned to be better and it saves the cost of entering sudan
anyone out there got a list of Chadian embassies worldwide?
