Charter tourism returns to Djanet!!!
|
Hi,
Point Voyage return with trips to Djanet based on Air France + Air Algerie flights. Kevin Girard told me they even do not think about charter flights to Djanet. Now they have charters to Atar only. Regards Artur Urbanski |
Yes, not really big news, as Artur says.
Their new Mori program is much more interesting, imo. |
Not excited?? :)
They are now offering three different package tours for Djanet, sixteen departures in all. Some of them confirmed, meaning they have found clients. Groups between 6-15. 8-15 days. Flying with Air France and Air Algerie. As above + http://files.point-voyages.com/pictu...5dupnrst_l.jpg http://files.point-voyages.com/pictu...yq8racng_l.jpg To Mauretania they offer two packages, same number of clients, but more departures. Flying with ASL and Mauri Airlines. http://files.point-voyages.com/pictu...f5yndg2e_l.jpg http://files.point-voyages.com/pictu...s4m7pckj_l.jpg To Chad they offer one package tour. http://files.point-voyages.com/pictu...qkgex3ge_l.jpg I hope they succeed. I find their prices very reasonable. |

Just saying it's not something we couldn't all do ourselves last year or two, both in car or with camels.
For Mori I see 7 packages with PV all the way up to Oumat el Ham north of Big Mog, and one plane all the way to Atar. PV are great value like you say – good luck to them. (though 15 years ago I recall local agencies in Tam not being so pleased with the under-cutting). I'm doing my bit: booked some springtime meharee with them a couple of weeks ago ;-). For me a good recce for a later trip. |
