I drove from Tidijkia to Atar and I don't think there is tarmac to Noakchott. I see this track but it is sand IMO.

Nice goudron Atar to Aoujeft, but with enough sand on the road to make some overlanders give up and turn back.
Then the road was part prepared and very rough, part hard to even find and partly finished and left to its own.

There were three companies building the roads, one chinese one french and one mauretanian. They were working at a different pace and it appeared some of it had been abandoned.

So this is the goudron going towards Nouakchott, would have been nice if they invested in keeping it clear. Trucks getting stuck in deep sand.

Didnt go far on this road, we went south on a piste to Kiffa. They were busy building a road north from Kiffa, part of it very nice tempting you to go too fast.
