Citizen band in Marocco, Mauretania and Senegal
 

In june we are planning a trip to Senegal via Marocco and Mauretania. Our cars are equiped with citizen band. Can we use CB in these countries ? If it's possible, do we need a permit, and where can we get such a permit.

My answer would be yes you can use them but don't even try to get permits, its more trouble than its worth

For Tunisia & Libya and will do the same for Morocco later this year is to strip the units down (ie hide mikes and big arials)while going thru borders etc. but otherwise just use them

I'm guessing but if you applied for permits the usual africa paranoia would kick in big time.
