Comanav & Comarit ferries
Does anybody know if during peak season - July-August - is it possible to arrive to harbour (Sete, Genova) couple hours before departure time and get the ticket to Morocco (Nador or Tanger).
How strict they are as far as height limit (according to the price list there is a change in price of ticket if your vehicle exceeds 2m). Is there any other ferryline apart from those going to Morocco? thanks r |

For the booking it depends on the harbour, Algeciras to Ceuta or Tanger you don't have to book, you get the ticket for the next departure when you arrive. For Nador, it leaves from Almeria and you have to book, maybe during the low season you can get ti at the last moment but I'm not sure. Eric |

Perhaps keep in mind that I booked a ticket well in advance, turned up 9 hours before sailing only to find it cancelled due to 'technical difficulties' -which happens sometimes it seems.
I either had to wait 2 days for the next ferry or drive the whole way. They wouldn't even give a free ticket over to Spain... |

Where were you booking the ticket, what company was it and did you have to give them some credit card details? |
I was in Morocco wanting to go from Tanger and had booked via email - no credit card details given, just confirmation of what I wanted booked given to them and they gave me back a booking confirmation number.
It was on Comarit. |
