Dakar rally route
 

Hiya A friend and i are planning a trip from the UK to SA to start Dec 2007ish. Has anyone followed any of the Dakar route or know of any tours that do it? :scooter:

I think that Wilderness Wheels in Morocco (they are based in Ouarzazate & Marakesh) organise a bike trip that will take you through the dakar route.

We've made Bamako-Kita-Mahina-Kenieba-Satadougou-Tambaconda stage of Barcelona-Dakar '05. The real interior, ford on Faleme River etc. Posses GPS waypoints.
