Dhakla paperwork

Now that there is no convoy, is it possible to do customs, police and army paperwork on the same day. Are there any restrictions on leaving for the border in the evening?

There is no more "paperwork" in Dakhla or anywhere else, you dont even have to go anywhere near the place. All the paperwork is done at the border which closes anytime between 18.00 and 20.00 depending on their mood. There are also no restrictions on driving the Dakhla-border road either by day or by night.

Just get your Mauritania visa in Casablanca. And then vehicle insurance in NDB.
