Documentary Chad expedition (maybe French?)
 

Hi everybody,

A couple of years ago I saw part of an expedition documentary shot somewhere in the Niger / Chad area, if I'm not wrong there was some Tibesti stuff in there, there was a guy flying an engine-powered hang-glider to recce the area, they were scared of the bandits (this was at least the story), etc. I'm not sure, but the production might have been French, less likely German or British...

Anybody has a clue what am I talking about? Title, links, hints, all will be welcome.

I believe the film you are refering to was a german production by the now defunct TerraNova satellite channel. The film was called Sahara: Zwischen Himmel und Sand.

If it was that show, then I've got what I think is the accompanying book (in German) to it (it has the same title) which I picked up in a seconhand shop in Finland, this summer !!
