Driving north thro Mauritania
 

Hi All,

I'm currently in Airmountains, Niger (absolutely gorgeous, slightly hot but very safe)and looking at crossing through Mali to go north in to Mauritania in the next two weeks, anyone interested in driving up throu Mauritania and hopefully doing the Tidjika to Atar route. I am in a 300 Tdi Landy,

What route did you take to Air mountains?

it's Gil with the Landcruiser u met in Ghana at Big M!
If u want to do the Ti-Atar route I recommened u do it with 2 cars it can be heavy sometimes.
If u want I can send u the GPS points of the route (I have done it in Feb this year).
I have used almost 130 litre on this piste (distance of roughly 450 km...)
