flying over Ténéré ?
 

I'm planning travel to the Ténéré going down from Lybia to Niger with a 4x4 truck and a hot air balloon inside.
All the information possible will be welcome.
People who had done this way recently.
The more spectacular places you thing for flying.
About the border Lybia-Niger.?
Flight permisions ?

Sounds fantastic - permissions, who knows but probably better to drive over borders. Alain Sebe

did some ballooning for his 'Moula Moula' book years ago, but only in Alg I think.
Best to start at El Gatrun and let the winds take you to Agadez, hopefully. Djado plateau and Air will be nice
