GPS points for sale
 

Hi everybody!

I was just retyping the GPS waypoints for Kiffa-Kayes, Dogonland Douentza-Bandiagara, Bamako-Kifa-Mahina-Satadougou-Kedougou routes when entered this forum.

I found myself a bit astonished reading the post "Looking 4 Morocco GPS co-ord's " where I learned that GPS waypoints are subject of sale.

Chris, and others, what is your opinion on sharing GPS waypoints?

Shall we gain experience ourselves rather then following third party or should we treat published GPS routes as reference for safety reasons or just sale this on commercial basis to whom it may concern?

Next trip I plan to South America, anyway ...
