Help needed !!! Bicycle journey.
 

Hi all.I'm about to ride from Cape Town
to Nordkap(norway) on my bicycle starting Jul/Aug 04.
I have already figured out most of my route
but I need your help with the Saharan section
Going north from NOUAKCHOTT through Maur.into
Mor.I though about the coastal route.
I need your advice about this route is it passable ? what's the surface like ? (sand/hardtrail/gravel/blacktop)
+ the water problem.
I can carry water for 150km.Maybe 200km.
Is there enough wells on the way ?
what about food supply ? where can I get that ?
Is there a problem the cross the border from
Maur. into Mor.?
changing money where ? (they take US$ in Mor.?)
I would be glad to hear any comments from
experienced people.This journey is the dream of my life and I really want to accomplish it.you can post replies or email me at
