Into / Out of Egypt by boat or????
 

for a North Africa motorcycle transit: does anyone have any idea how i can either get to Egypt with motorcycle to begin heading West, or out of Egypt with motorcycle at east end of my trip?

as far as i can discover, there are no longer ferries from Egypt to Greece, and i do not want to go around the east end of the Med thru Israel and the other war-torn countries..

ideas?

Last time I tried a similar thing, a ended up take a boat from Grimaldi Freighter Lines. It went from Alexandria to Haifa to Izmir, to Athens and ended in Ancona Italie. It was a nice trip and we could join the car in the boat. Good trip, great italian food and a lot of reading!!!

We had email contact with Grimaldi in Italy and the have their one shipping agent in ALexandria. At the habour you encounter the usual hassle.
