Libya-Chad route
 

An aid convoy of 20 trucks has passed from Benghazi to Dafur (eastern Chad) on what seems to be an unusual route. The Libyan-Chad border, as far as I know, has been closed for some time.

This route from the Med is now a preferred way in to Chad, esp during the rainy season when Cameroon's roads are tricky. Certainly only for UN trucks, but who knows? Pistes and trade go hand in hand in the Sahara.
