Seven caves in Tadrart Akakus have been vandalised this month with tin spray paint with abused addressed against italian and Libyan Gov.

Lovely! After making life difficult for tourists for all those years, guess who's doing the vandalism.

When I went to see the rock art in the Acacus, I was quite taken aback to see Arabic words scratched into the pictures, as well as lines of bullet-holes at Wadi Meghadit. I very much doubt that was done by tourists.
