Life of Michelin Deserts in the Sahara
 

I'm going to be mounting some Michelin Deserts for a Tunisia - Agadez trip in the fall and I'm wondering how long one will last in those conditions on an XR650L.

It would be nice to not carry an extra rear tire, but I also hate to think about riding in sand with a bald rear tire.
