Long parking in Mauritania
 

Hi everybody,
I just left my car in Nouakchott. I wanted to leave for 5 to 6 months and leave it there.
I agreed with Douane police to leave in their closed and guarded parking. It costs me 100 Euro per month. I paid 4 months in advance. I left one key to them. Not cheap but I'm free to go back when I prefer.
All the process was very easy and quick but I was helped by a local guy who knew them, anyway they said that these are the new rules.
In the parking I saw other vehicles from Germany and Italy and a few motorbikes.
