Lybia to Niger
 

I've read the report in the "News" section about a trip from Lybia to Niger by Tumu border in "late November" .
Can somebody tell me if it was in November 2004 ?

I certainly know at least two groups who have gone this way in the last month or two with no probs.

As always it seems what we are officially told and what can be done differ.

On this subject, I am waiting for more recent news from Libya, which could be promising. (I'm just back from Libya. As you may know, Roro, a group of French even came up from north Chad to Kufra!

I've crossed this border in early October.
I did not noticed that it could be oficially closed. Certainly in Al Katrun there was no question asked about our destination.
