Someone told me the other day they dont do visas on the Mali-Mori border anymore (they they ever? they didnt say which one). You need a regular Mori visa from Bamako.

No. But you can get an extension in Nouachott even if it has taken you longer than 3 days to get there. You just have to explain why your 3 day visa has expired.
