Mauri to Mali in a 2wd
 

In six weeks I am heading to Mali, the first time. Usaully I drive the Senegal route via Rosso, but with car age restrictions I am going to try a detour. I have no carnet and dont wont to get one.
Any advice, what is the best way to get to Cassamance?
I will be driving an old Peugeot 505..... Cheers
