Med ferries
We are currently in Tunisia and may need to get to Italy for a few days for personal reasons.
I don't want to go all the way to Genoa as it takes too long but prefer to get a bit above Sicily, so not Tunis-Trapani. Is there any other ferry out of Tunisia to Italy on at the moment, and any contact details? Jasper ------------------ A Journey of Hope www.expeditionjasanne.co.uk www.fugroseastar.com |

This may seem like a smart arse reply but I think if you want to leave Tunisia to go to Italy then the Tunis-Napoli ferry is probably a better shot than the Napoli-Tunis ferry? Or maybe not.......Sorry Sorry Sorry

Ho ho ho. Thanks for the info Richard. I also did some more digging and found the following.
At this time of year: Tunis - Genoa Friday at 1900 hours. This takes 24 hours and is the one that turns around in Genoa and returns Saturday to Sunday to Tunis. Tunis - Marseille Sat at 1430 hours and Wed at 1100 hours. Tunis - Trapani Monday at 2000 hours. 7 hours transit Tunis - Napoli Sunday at 1100 hours. 23 hours transit and it turns around and comes back on Monday. There is also a Sousse - Trapani ferry, but not 'til July! ATB Jasper ------------------ A Journey of Hope www.expeditionjasanne.co.uk www.fugroseastar.com |
