Morocco to Dakar / Banjul
Am going on the Plymouth to Dakar in a 2CV this winter. I have decided to give the LR a break and see how a 2CV performs.
What I need to know is how far apart are the fuel stops on the furthest stretches between Morocco and say Dakar. I think it is probably about 200km but does someone have more accurate info. I see on the Atlantic route description on Sahara Overland site there are some GPS locations but I havent yet plotted them Any help would be good Cheers Ashley |
you will need two gerry cans , fill them up in Nouadhibou , don't be tempted to by-pass it after crossing the ORE line. this should get you through the desert easy, it did our pair of Montego GTI 2.0 rocket ships OK last year when we ran the P-D.
