Morocco to Syria
Assalaam Alaykum people.
Hope this is the right place to post this. I am planning a traveling adventure to Northern Africa and the Middle East for the end of this year. Starting from Morocco in November, I and three friends will travel independently through Morocco and Tunisia. We would very much like to travel through Libya and then on to Egypt. I am aware that during travel through Libya we may have to take an organised tour. I’m interested in traveling from Tripoli south to al-Jebal Akakus and to Murzuk on a camel or 4WD tour. Is it possible to travel independently within Libya? This would be from the Tunisian border to Tripoli and also from Tripoli to Benghazi and then Egypt. My friends and I are students and so would like to see as much of the country as possible with a cheap budget. Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Peace Comrades |
there's a lot of Algeria between Morocco and Tunisia and you can't enter it from Morocco. you can go back to Spain and take a boat to Algeria or from France/Italy to Tunisia. or down to Mauretania, Mali, Niger, Algeria ...
I'm no help on the Libyan front, either, but thought you ought to know the above good luck Rich |

I think now things are changed. You should ask to a competent travel agent or to the Lybian Emabssy |
