mosquitoes
When traveling (Morocco to Banjul) what do people use to combat mossies.
Do most of the motel type places have mossie netting or is it wise to take your own. Is there any prefferences to a spray reppelant, roll on repellant, mossie bands that go around your wrist and ankles. Cheers Wilky and Diney |
Good old DEET.
I'd went for a pumpspray of 50% deet, bigger the better, and wore trousers at night. Stay clear of 100% Deet (you just don't need it) - it will escape from its bottle and it will eat everything plastic in sight!

No more mozzies!
Avon Skin-So-Soft Moisturiser (stop laughing at the back!) works for me. Some swear by Marmite - on your breakfast toast every day, not smeared all over your body!
Piriteze one-a-day antihistamine are good if you do get bitten. They're non-drowsy, so OK if you're riding/driving. Jojo |

Yes it is wise to take our own combat mossies for our safety because there might be hotels which might not be providing the combat mossies.:thumbup1: |
