Nouadibhou to Noakchott
 

Hello.

Can someone inform me if it is easy to get a transportation between nouadibhou and Noakchott in Mauritania? By truck? Taxi-brousse? Is there a tar road, some tracks, pistes? I have a friend in Dakhla in this moment, and he needs to know if he should leave his car there and go by taxi/bus/truck or continue driving. Thank you

he should definitely continue driving and cross the desert. if he doesn't have gps, he should hire a guide in Dakhla to take him through the minefield and also through the desert. I did this route this september with 10 year old 2 WD. so there is no problem at all - just have enough water and petrol. And especially, enjoy the desert and the sun above....
